New Wallpaper (Naruto)
Jun. 16th, 2007 12:48 amSo I was trolling Google images for Naruto stuff (been watching the anime lately and enjoying it muchly) the other day. Sometimes I like doing that for random things because when I look for wallpapers, I find some where I love the technique used even if I don't care for the subject matter. Then I save it to try to imitate later on.
Whilst on my google-fu wanderings, I found this cool looking wallpaper of Kakashi. It was black and white and only available in 1024x768, sadly enough. I grabbed it because I loved the composition and set it up as my desktop. But my artists soul was crying out for some color, so I decided to try adding a bit to it. At first I was going to just color the abstract design in the background, but it turned into a full on color of the whole image. I think it turned out darn good, which is why I'm posting it here.
NOTE - I have no idea who did the original artwork, if it is fanart or official art. If anyone does know, please let me know so I can credit it appropriately and officially ask permission to use the art for that matter. I'd love to know because it really is an excellent piece of work.
So without further ado - here is my colored version of the wallpaper. Original version is here for comparison.
